CMA are proud to be partnering with a Top 50 firm of accountancy experts and business advisors in their search to find an Audit Manager to join their Audit & Assurance team. This role can be based in either Newbury, Reading or Oxford as the audit teams operate as one. This firm prides themselves on offering a full range of advisory services, working with their clients to unlock and maximise the advantage they can take of opportunities.
What will the Audit Manager role involve?
- Oversee the effective management of a substantial portfolio of clients;
- Plan assignments, ensuring all work carried out is compliant and that client and statutory deadlines are met and exceeded;
- To develop a detailed knowledge of the firm’s specialist services and to undertake special work in response to client needs where appropriate;
- Act as line manager to students and/or seniors.
Suitable Candidate for the Audit Manager vacancy:
- ACA/ACCA qualified;
- Previous experience operating at manager level in a similar role;
- Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients;
- Audit experience within the SME sector would be advantageous;
- Business development experience and interest would be an advantage.
