Recruitment of Finance Team

Belasko is a well-established and innovative fund and corporate services business with offices in the Channel Islands, continental Europe and UK. They provide a range of fund, corporate and fiduciary services working with the smallest structure to the largest funds and family offices, taking pride in delivering exceptional levels of service.

In 2019 Belasko expanded their offering through the opening of a new UK hub in Basingstoke with significant investment in people and technology. CMA joined forces with Belasko as a Recruitment Partner who could recruit across a broad salary range within a specialist financial field and deliver within tight timeframes. The initial remit was to recruit 14 people in finance.

Search Parameters

The brief for CMA was to find dynamic and progressive individuals, who possess excellent technical accounting experience with a team focused approach, and the drive and commitment to support the business growth in a unique financial services field. Target job roles included Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, finance systems experts and junior accountants. This involved close collaboration with the client to gain not only a strong understanding of the vacancies, but also the sector, culture and Belasko’s core values.

CMA implemented a robust recruitment process tailored to Belasko, delivering a targeted and proactive approach which included head hunting through recommendation, searching CMA’s extensive database, industry specific marketing and utilisation of tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards. Candidates were pre-screened and interviewed by CMA to ensure a strong company and team fit in terms of technical knowledge, relevant experience and personality.
