CMA Practice Division
CMA Practice manages the full range of appointments within the profession, from AAT students, fully qualified accountants through to Senior Partners, with a client portfolio encompassing ‘Top 10’ firms, independent practices and specialist boutiques.
Our long standing team (that includes accountancy professionals), in-depth knowledge of the South coast practice market and sponsorship of various student and member societies ensures our name is synonymous with Practice Recruitment across the Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey and Sussex regions.
Operating across general practice, assurance, taxation, corporate finance and insolvency, CMA recognises that our clients' success depends on both technical competence and the business relationship between their team and client portfolio.
Whether they are an independent practice or large international firm, by working closely with our clients at each step of a tailored recruitment process, and utilising our multifaceted approach to candidate attraction, CMA is able to identify and secure the most talented candidates which match their specific requirements.
Practice opportunities that CMA recruits for include:
CMA meets 100% of the candidates it represents. An experienced recruitment professional conducts an in-depth registration interview with each candidate to discuss their technical expertise and future career aspirations, as well as to gain a detailed insight into their personality traits. CMA will also check all professional accountancy qualifications. This provides our clients with absolute confidence in the candidate selection process.
CMA prides itself on the excellent relationships it builds and sustains with clients. Whilst we can offer the standard search and selection service, when engaged on an exclusive basis CMA can offer enhanced service agreements that provide a range of additional benefits.
Preferred Supplier Agreement (PSA): An opportunity to support clients on a sole supplier basis for an agreed period. It provides the most cost effective solution and an opportunity to work in partnership, which should reduce time to hire through an increased understanding and control of the recruitment process, whilst maximising employer brand perception.
Head Start Agreement (HSA): A flexible option that offers a set level of cost saving in return for a 'head start' on all recruitment exercises. This lead time ensures clients benefit from a fully tailored shortlist and offers similar advantages to those within our PSA, including access to a further range of skills assessments, extended payment terms and rebate structure.
CMA offers an exceptional guarantee for all permanent placements. CMA’s Pledge is a free replacement or 100% refund* during the first 100 days of an appointment. This is an outstanding rebate structure that reflects CMA’s confidence in its service delivery.
For temporary staff, CMA can offer a free working interview (4 hours) or a full day’s trial at cost price. This offers the assurance that the right candidate has been appointed into the role.
* See Permanent Terms of Business for comprehensive details of the CMA Pledge.
