Group Financial Controller

An opportunity for a technically sound Financial Controller to join an international business based in Southampton as Interim Group Financial Controller to cover a period of planned leave for 3 months.

The key deliverables for the three month contract period will be, oversight of the Group audit, successful completion of the group and subsidiary financial statements, and completion of the monthly management accounts process in line with required deadlines.

What will the Group Financial Controller role involve?

• Reporting into the Finance Director, this position will work with international entities to ensure accurate consolidated information is presented as required;
• Primary responsibility for the year end process including preparation of the consolidated statutory accounts for the group;
• Coordinate the completion of year end statutory accounts for all group subsidiaries and branches ensuring compliance in all relevant countries

Suitable Candidate for the Group Financial Controller vacancy:

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) possessing an exceptional technical finance skill-set, specifically around statutory accounts and year-end processes;
• International and consolidation experience is highly desirable;
• The ability to commence the assignment in January and commit to a 3 month period.
